Once again, it’s time to give two paws up for the little guys!

I delayed it a few months this year until I could get settled into my NEW and totally AWESOME studio at

87 Waterbury Rd., Prospect, CT

So maybe I’m not 100% settled in but winter is coming and these folks need help.

These are the groups that I aim to give a leg up.

I am happy to have my first open studio in the new location in honor of our feline friends.

As usual, I will raffle off a custom painted jacket with your very own companion... be it fur, finned, feathered, leathered or even if it packs a V8 engine.

All proceeds from the raffle will be split among the above groups.

There will also be a “Flea sale” and a percentage of artwork sales will go to these rescue groups.

Information on rescue, Trap aNd Release spay and neuter, adoption and volunteer opportunities will be available.

Join me for an afternoon of artwork, refreshments – including the famed kitty litter cake, cat chat and support for those who work so hard to keep a handle on overpopulation and cruelty.

Even if you don’t like cats, it’s a win-win! It’s all about keeping the population down.Come on down and buy a ticket (or more!), get the information you may be looking for and, by all means, volunteer to make a change!

Thank you to all who joined us for our 2nd annual "For the Love of Felines" event was held in June 2009.

There was a good turn out with new and old friends. Two new paintings were unveiled, refreshments were served (including the all famous and somewhat gruesome Kitty Litter Cake) and a good time was had by all.

Most importantly the kitties had some very generous friends who donated funds and supplies.

I know there were some disappointed ticket holders but there will be another chance to win next spring! Stay tuned for dates and times.

Please remember all of the folks out there who work so hard to make life better for homeless animals. Support your local rescue groups. If you need help, they can get you pointed in the right direction. If you can offer help, even in the smallest way, they could use it.

Save a life! Adopt a pet! Lend a hand! Get your critters spayed and neutered!!
