The process begins with the initial conversation via e-mail or phone. We will discuss dimensions, location, subject and budget. There is no fee for this consultation. Then we visit the location, take measurements, pictures, go into more details about design, color and time frame. A small, non-refundable deposit is usually required at this point to continue. This covers our time, travel and design work. We will then work out sketches fit to the dimensions of the area to be painted and will work out an estimate. Cost is not determined until the final draft is complete and all details are in place. There is normally one person handling the details of a mural being painted in their home. We feel it is important to include all family members in the decision whether or not they SAY they are interested. At some point they are and this is a good point to get together and discuss any details they would like added. We will have a second meeting to go over the sketches and all details and cost. If all is agreed upon, a deposit is required. For smaller jobs, half is required now and the other half upon completion. For larger jobs, we break it up into thirds. We will then prepare paints, full scale sketches and a schedule. We do as much work as possible beforehand to ensure that we are in and out of your home or office in a timely manner.
